I really like that picture. It was shot while he was still in full stage make up while signing autographs after a performance of Spamalot. I think he should consider guyliner all the time. He looks good with it. Lotsa guys do.

Am I the only person who thinks he looks strikingly similar to Barry Manilow? And we all know how straight he is!
I love Clay Aiken.
Whether he’s straight or not has no bearing on his amazing voice and his talent as a performer, so I can’t for the life of me understand why people always want to draw so much attention to his sexuality.
I toally see the resemblance to Barry Manilow. When Barry was the guest voice coach on American Idol (Season 4? 5?) he introduced himself to that season’s contestants by saying, “This is what Clay Aiken is going to look like in 30 years”. It was spot-on, and funny.
I usually have to hear a guy or see him in motion to say “for sure” that he’s gay (my gaydar doesn’t usually work on still images unless the setup for the picture leaves little doubt). I still have never seen him on TV (obviously I’ve heard him on the radio!), but the first time I ever saw him in the tabloids when he was brand new to American Idol, I *knew* he was gay. His big revelation came as absolutely no shock to me. I had him pegged from day 1 and I have to wonder who he thought he was fooling. Everyone I know looked at the big headline and was like, “…and…we didn’t already know this?”

I could care less whether or not he’s gay. What I care about is the fact that he lied about it. He was always the one saying why does it matter what I am? Why does it matter what I am? (of course followed by “I am NOT gay”. Just…stop lying.
