Bad grammar… doing it way too well.
Unless they’re doing it TO well… but who’s well?
Well, actually, YOU’RE doing it TOO well.
Isn’t this more spelling and not grammar?
It’s both. “Your,” “You’re,” “to” and “too” are all real words. (Well, technically “you’re” is a contraction). So either the two words are misspelled in such a way that they form other words (poor spelling) or the wrong words were used (poor grammar). Until the person who wrote the caption weighs in, it’s anyone’s guess.
Then again, this is a LOL. It’s not as if spelling and grammar are that highly valued. Where cats are concerned, the rules of both are intentionally violated.
Damn straight Sir! Well played, top drawer top drawer. Jolly good!
Definitely creepy though…D:
ZOMFG!!!!! That’s just wrong. And I am not talking about the poor grammar. Thanks for the nightmares I will be having for weeks to come………… LOL!!
Good thing they’re all dead now.
too≠to≠two
your≠you’re
2–to–too-two?
wanna know something even creepier? my just-barely 5″ tall mother dressed as the green one for Halloween, large lollipop and everything… They were have a theme contest @ her work, and the bakery’s theme was Wizard of Oz.
The bravest of them all though was the woman who dressed as Glinda around 400-degree ovens.
5″ tall mother? Wouldn’t a normal lillipop be to scale for her costume?
did your mother get transmitted via wonkavision?
Sorry, but wasn’t Glinda the “good witch”? And the Evil Witch of the West, at least in “Wicked”, was Elphaba. BTW Glinda had no problems with fire. Elphaba, on the other hand was mortally afraid of water. So — what was your point, exactly? I bet your Mom was adorable. *shiver*
I think you mean your mother is 5ft not 5 inches lol
er… lollipop.
lillipop!
does that mean your name is really lolliputian?
yes, I’m actually under an alias on this message board… wouldn’t want people knowing my real name.
A just-barely 5″ tall mother? A pocket mom!!
Oh, wait, that’s even creepier than doing it “a little” to some guy named “well”.
Danny DeVito impression – you’re doing it right!
No one else see Robert Deniro in the middle there?
I think that was Billy Barty. And at least one of the other two was an eight-year-old. I think.
Just out of curiosity, how many times has it been suggested that the “you’re doing it” captions be banned for all time? And will it ever be enforced?
i disagree- some of those are among the funniest lolz, imo
The exact same joke over and over and over and over never becomes tiring for you? From what I’ve seen lately, I think you’re probably in the majority here.
I think the entire nation needs a crash course in grammar
Aww… It’s not very nice to make fun of the Jonas Brothers like that!
~
~
Oh… They’re not?
these guys clearly Rock more than the jonas bros!
Anything rocks more than the Jonas brothers
ok. you don’t make fun of the wizard of oz. not cool.
Glad to see that I’m not the only one who always found them creepy.
I thought the whole point of this site was bad grammar?, i mean c’mon “I can haz cheezeburger?” you can’t really argue the valid point of perfect grammar on a site like this…
Why can’t nobody speak proper English like what I does
The difference is intention. “I can haz cheezeburger” is intentionally wrong. If this person meant to have bad grammar, he or she should have made it obvious that it was intentional: “Beeng creepie… your donig it a lidle to good, akshuly” or something like that. But to simply make two mistakes that most of the semi-literatti of the interweb make all the time just makes others question your ability to use the lanquich.
Adverb spelling fail!
SHIT.
BAD GRAMMAR,
You’re doing it.. quite well, actually.
the one on the far left is kinda cute
the third one on the right looks like he has horns…..i wonder who his hairstylist was……………….
