Very late in finding this, but you are so right. I liked him before that, but Equilibrium was the movie that made me a Bale fan. It’s still one of my favorites.

Would it be better to use the regular Bruce Wayne voice and be identified by anyone with decent hearing?
If no one notices that Clark Kent looks an awful lot like Superman with glasses, then no one will recognize Batman’s voice as Bruce Wayne’s.

I have been a fan since Empire of the Sun- granted he was what, 13? He was gorgeous in Swing Kids, Newsies, Little Women, Equilibrium, American Psycho… the list goes on and on.
He has always been my favorite, he is an amazing actor.
