This is the best picture I’ve ever seen of her..and it was long before the drug years.

I was going to make a fairly inane comment about the best picture of her being from the topless shoot she did for (I think) Playboy. On reconsideration though, I think this one wins.
Although this is an early photo, there are a lot of photos from the later, drug addict years where she is still exceptionally pretty.

But, MM was not always as lovely as this photo portrays, especially in the later years when JFK and RFK were taking turns with her. This photo was taken when she was just a newbie starlet.
About the time the Kennedy bros were taking turns, she was at her most beautiful. The footage from the unfinished “Something’s Got To Give” shows that very clearly.
I was adopted; an my biological mom named me Norma Jean(after Marilyn). I’ve always thought it rather flattering that I was named after a lovely woman.

However, if Obama gets caught doing the hoizontal bop with Halle Berry during his third year in office, he can kiss re-election goodbye. Just as JFK would have had to do had he been publicly discovered.
Thats all I’m sayin. And Marilyn Monroe was incredibly beautiful, not a size two, and mentally ill to boot. An incredible woman.

I think she was still beautiful even after all of her problems.
After all is said and done, Marilyn Monroe remains a spectacularly classic beauty much the same as Catherine Deneuve, the French actress. Such lovlies are rare and it is a shame that life dealt MM such a lousy hand from the beginning. She, as is Deneuve, far outshine even Grace Kelley when it comes to simply feminine beauty. MM will be remembered for generations to come, not for her misfortunes or her ’social’ standings, not for her talents, but for her sheer lovliness and womanliness.

I don’t know… I found this picture on a google search for Marilyn Monroe… but Monroe has a beauty mark (mole) on her left cheek and, in this picture, there is no visible mark.
Marilyn did have a beauty mark on her left cheek which she coloured in – but this she started doing in the 50s and this photo is from ‘48. The mole is there but it’s just not obvious.
