LOL perfect caption!
ditto!
WIN!
Who did he blow to win that part?
What did he do? I don’t even know.
…He sucked!
did not!
Really? I’m pretty sure that should be a picture of George Lucas. I mean Eps. 1-3 and Indy 4 were his fault.
Indeed! There’s ample proof in other films that Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, etc. , etc., are good actors. The fault lies with Lucas, and every one of his “yes” men that work at Lucasfilm that didn’t have the stones to stand up and say something to him about the prequels.
Chuck
I wonder what he has against acting. It’s obvious from Episode 1 that he forces that actors to act like crap. Tons of talented actors, and they all act in that movie like kids reading the lines in a school play that they have been forced into that also happens to be held in a language they do not speak. He must intensely hate both actors and the audience to produce such crap.
Two words…yes men.
As a director, Lucas is only concerned that the actors said the lines correctly.
That was excatly what I was thinking
He was such a cute little kid. What happened?
Guys guys guys…..
While I don’t disagree that CH did the part no justice, may I remind you of two words?
Mark Hammill
Face it, without Star Wars this guy is a minor actor in a local theatre troupe that eventually has to get a real job working for Kinko’s. Prior to Star Wars Harrison Ford had done a few war movies (Force 10 from Navarone), Carrie Fisher was a nobody and aside from Sir Alec Guinness there wasn’t a single established actor in the bunch. I figure he got lucky with Fisher and Ford.
George Lucas, not exactly a great track record on casting choices for his lead character
Somebody needs to consult IMDB…True, none of the actors really went on to spectacular Emmy award winning careers post Star Wars (with the exception of James Earl Jones) but to say they haven’t worked is incorrect. Mark Hamill, in fact, has the longest list of credits to his name of any of the cast of Star Wars. Most of it was voice work. He’s currently one of the higher paid voice actors in the industry (It’s a little tough to get a screen acting job after getting your face mangled by a car accident).
Who the hell cares. Darth Vader was cool until CH turned into some multi disorder slightly gay guy in a black suit
As far as Mark Hamill’s voice acting, his Joker (in “Batman: The Animated Series,” “‘Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker,” “Birds of Prey”) is PHENOMENAL, absolutely incredible and utterly fantastic. And good, even.
Carrie Fisher was born famous. Her parents are Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher.
I guess this means he really *is* a role model for many of the so-called fans. -.-
God I hate melancholic people that say the old franchise was better. Except Han Solo everything was pathetic, I don’t care if it was 70s or they didn’t have special effects or etc. It’s a matter of REALITY. You may say that I’m an idiot but just WATCH THEM AGAIN, the old 3 episodes, Episode VI is literally painful. It’s like you played with toy cars, then you bought a real car but still you only remember how happy you were playing with that toy car. SO I dare you, play NOW with that toy car, WATCH THEM AGAIN.
First, it was 66% in the 80’s, and second, Jedi is a good movie. Even today, and especially in comparison to the prequels. I’ve seen them plenty of times.
You, sir, are crazy. The new trilogy is pathetic compared to the original. The acting and plot in the new trilogy is laughable at best.
I JUST Watched 6 and I’d rather see it on infinite repeat while giving birth to a hoard of ewoks then EVER watch 1 and 2 again. EVER .
And that is just an understatement.
I’m pretty sure it was Lucas himself who ruined the franchise, he should have learned his lesson after Jar Jar.
I believe “hurt” is the correct verb for this. He certainly didn’t do it alone.
Yeah this was a mistake, totally agree. http://www.youcanquotethis.com
It wasn’t him that sucked…it was the writing…and the plot… D:
Actually, the plot was the only redeeming thing about 1-3. It’s all really about the emperor manipulating an entire galactic republic to gain power for himself and then turn the Republic into his Empire.
If you think about it, it was a plan that took over 20 years in the making. That’s pretty bad ass.
He’s not called George ‘Franchisicide’ Lucas for nothing…
He’s not. Not among ‘real’ Star Wars fans.
I honestly didn’t hate the prequels that much. While yes, the original trilogy is MUCH better, the prequels aren’t that bad…(save for Attack of the Clones…that one wasn’t any good.)
geeks
shut up
I don’t care what any of you n00bz say, even if you claim to be a real fan of Star Wars. You are only a real fan if you appreciated how Episode III tied everything together and made the whole series more perfect. Hayden was awesome as Anakin and really made me believe it.
Loved episode III, best one. this pic sucks.
hey, i thought Hayden Chritianson was a good Anakin
dunno about you guys but I’d hit that like the fist of an angry god. Hello man candy!
Whilst eps. 1/2 sucked, I thought 3 was pretty good.
lolz that was so funny
why all the hate for the prequels, i guess most of those people never saw them. many people who think the original is way better only says it because there were a child when it came out, and now they are grown up and think the prequels sucked because they are adults now.
