I am not speaking of the original commenter regarding this, but my observation is that the parenting skills have nothing to do with the picture. I would be fine if it had just said something about one kid thinking he’s black and the other thinking he is a girl, since that is what it looks like in the picture. I would find that funny. It’s just the fact that there is nothing in the picture that relates to the parents skills in raising their children; it is an unnecessary mention.
Then again, I am also a person who is offended with the “lolz christians touch little boyz” and “country folk are rascists and inbred” comments, even though I am neither christian nor a country folk. It just starts me up because I know that people are narrowminded enough to seriously uphold those beliefs. I know that it is supposed to be in good humor though, so I guess I’m overreacting.

I agree; it’s immature to judge people based on their looks. What right does a person have to say that these kids are dressing just for the money? There are plenty of people who dress like both of these stars without having the incentive of money, so how can we know that these two wouldn’t dress this way if they weren’t in the band? I’ve never heard them say that themselves.
Also, the parent quote really bothers me. You say that these parents failed? Really? Their kids wanted to be musicians, and they both succeeded with their dreams. How is that a failure, compared to all of the high school dropouts and drug addicts? I do not know for sure whether the parents were “good” or “bad” when it came to raising their children, but its ridiculous to base their parenting skills on the way that their children dress.

And as for labels making them who they are, there are millions of pictures of Bill and Tom BEFORE they even called themselves Devilish [their first band], and guess what? they are dressing how they want. it even says in their contract that Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustave will never have handlers telling them how to dress or wear their hair/makeup etc.

How is it a fail if a parent encouraged a child [or children as the case may be] to be whoever they wanted to be, and not care what other people thought of them, and then they actually SUCCEEDED? You don’t know if someone is gay, strait, ghetto or any of that crap just from a picture, and actually if you listen to Tokio Hotel they sound great.
