For all the totally hopeless people out there: This picture is from the METS costume galla last year, the theme was superhero/fantasy. Katie’s outift was actually one of the best out there that night. I personally think the contrast of the shoes and the dress was awesome, just that this picture is taken from a bad angle.
I was about to clarify about the costume gala but you beat me to it. I really liked her outfit, and the contrasting colors.
The caption would have worked better if it had been paired with a picture of her in those awful pegged jeans
I still don’t see what’s fantasy/superhero about that. I like the red dress. But those blue shoes just… kill it.

Yeah, the Heaven’s Gate cult. They believed a UFO was following the Hale-Bopp comet and killing themselves would get them beamed aboard? Puh-leeze.

I’m amazed he let her out of the mansion wearing heels – he never did like for Nicole Kidman to be taller than him. Upon their separation / divorce, she commented, “Well, at least now I can wear heels!”.
