How so? I wouldn’t want to be in Brad’s shoes, but I really don’t see where this animosity towards her comes from. She adopts children from undeveloped countries, why is that bad?

Octomom is an insane woman in CA who just had octuplets after already having six kids, three with special needs. Oh yeah, she’s on welfare, no job, lives off her parents, no hubby with 14 children all under 10. Totally different from ‘Branjelina”.

They are quite wealthy and can afford to care for the ‘horde’ of little ones that they seem to get almost every month. It’s also a tease because this is not the usual behavior than one finds in Hollywood couples.
Why isn’t she adopting poor American children as well is what I want to know. Why are they any less deserving of the kinds of opportunities afforded to the rich and famous just because they were already born in a ‘developed’ nation?
Because even poor American children children have it better then children from famine or war stricken parts of Africa or eastern Europe, you insular cocksucker.
So that makes it okay for them to be ignored? Just because they’re starving and sick due to lack of access to proper health somewhere with internet access and a phone?

Oh and by internet access, I mean a country where it’s more common than not. Not that their home has internet access, because that money needs to go to what little food their parents can afford. Kids have it just as bad in our country as they have elsewhere, you just don’t hear about it because apparently even poor American children still have it better?

If she adopted all American kids, you would probably be asking, “Why isn’t she adopting children from other countries?” Gee, all of Angie’s children are healthy. Why isn’t she adopting sick children? Vile witch! She doesn’t have any Latino children. Racist woman!
Seriously? If you’re such a bleeding heart, go adopt American children of your own. Maybe then you won’t have the free time to wonder on how others live their lives.
Because it’s far more difficult to (legally) adopt American kids, and far too easy for some biological “relative” to extort $$ from rich and famous adoptive parents. Also, if you want to adopt a baby (i.e.: YOU will be the only “mommy” it remembers), and DON’T have the strength and skills to handle a “special needs” child, your chances of finding an adoptable “normal” baby are better overseas.
I have a LOT of respect for parents who’re willing and able to handle “special needs” children, but also respect those who know their own limits, and realize that the challenges of a foreign-born orphan are enough to handle without adding mental or physical disabilities, or the problems of an older child who’s been traumatized and needs extensive therapy and/or is unable to “bond” with adoptive parents.

Disregarding the photos depicting virtually every free moment of Angelina’s off-time is dedicated to her children, hiring others to care for her children as she pursues a career is somehow different from what most American middle to upper class families do with their own, often fewer, children?
There is a misunderstanding afoot. If you mean Octomom, the woman without stable income who birthed octuplets via in vitro fertilization and irresponsibly adding to her already large family of six children, you are mistaken. Her name is Nadya Suleman (and she seems like a deeply delusional woman). This one is just another jab at the Jolie-Pitt clan, which currently consists of six children. Why it features Spongebob, I have no idea, though it makes your conclusion seem more logical.

I know about Octomom (and she should be boiled in tar) but what does this lol have to do with her? I see the name “Angelina,” I do not see any reference to Nadya Suleman.

LOL, now I KNOW I need a nap. We were also responding to your post underneath it, because we didn’t want you to confuse “Bragelina” with that Suleman woman. And to echo some of the later posts, the media teases celebrities when they fall out of the ‘norm’–She seems to see a kid and is able to adopt ‘immediately’, while hundreds or more less-wealthy people have to jump through hoops (many have to wait years) to adopt even kids from this country. The reason why the wealthier people adopt from overseas is that the bureaucracy ‘over there’ is easier and less time consuming to deal with.
Once again, Spongebob, dishing out the great advice like some sort of sponge-guru.

how sad it is that when someone adopts multiple needy children and actually has the money to do it, people say it´s bad… this is a sad world.

But letting underpriveleged (more like totally unpriveleged) kids have a home makes the world happier for them.
Personally, I applaud Angelina for helping out all those children and giving them a chance at a better life, but I have a theory as to why people are upset with her wanting to adopt children. It could be because there are millions of women out there who are unable to have children because they are infertile or had to have their reproductive organs removed for one reason for another, but yet they want children. For some normal people, even adopting can be an issue, and seeing Angelina able to adopt several children upsets them, especially since also has as many biological children as she has adopted children. So, basically I feel it just all dwindles down to jealousy.

I’m more concerned about the self-identity crisis some of her kids will probably have. It’s a good thing what she’s doing but I think she’s somewhat taken it to an extreme. Also, no matter how much money you have, it would be hard to provide six children with as much attention as they need, unless you have a nanny. Maybe she does.. I don’t know..
