So with this plan, I get text and long distance?

So with this plan, I get text and long distance? Oooh get that, we can call alderon, tell everybody to get the hell out…

DISTENCE????
LOL! I love the predictability of these comments. I saw the spelling error, and went to the comments with the purpose of seeing how many people would make a fuss of it… And there it is, first comment. Lol…
indeed. (and the fact that Alderaan is misspelled… and already blown to bits 2 movies ago at this point) LOL’z are not known for their epic spelling/grammar or factual accuracy. Don’t sweat the small stuff people.
Okay…no more sweating the small stuff for me. Thanks for the advice.
Except when the “small stuff” is on a consistently huge scale and the world is watching.
You don’t really expect a bunch of geeks to let anyone get away with misspelling the made-up people, places, or things in Star Wars, do you? Heck, you even made the even more obscure observation that this is way past when Alderaan was destroyed.
Precisely.
This is a geek site. Geeks know their geekery, and will defend that geekery. Whether that involves rallying the grammar and spelling police, or getting irritated that Alderaan has been misspelled, this is the natural reaction of geeks to poorly executed geekery.
And if this says anything, I was more affronted about the misspelling of Alderaan, and the poor use of punctuation in Luke’s comment, than I was about the misspelling of “distance.”
Back in the pre-web days of the internet, one of the first truly successful Usenet trolls was a post to rec.arts.sf.tv.star-trek proclaiming James Tecumseh Kirk to be the best Starforce captain ever.
Did anyone even ponder that maybe…just MAYBE its misspelled on purpose?
To my defense, I didn’t even use the F***T word. Doesn’t it count for something?
points to Leila for not using the F***T word.
The F***T word? I must be terribly sheltered or ignorant, but what is this… F***T word? And why are the ‘f’ and ‘t’ capitalized, is it always yelled?
……must…………….resist……………………
I gotta agree with Thomas. F***T word? What F***T word? I mean, I would get it if you were saying – or not saying – “The Force”, just because it’s to stereotypical…
Okay, I’ll be the schmuck to say it:
The F***T word is “first”.
People don’t say it because of… well, I’m sure you’ll see now that I’ve said it. XD
SHMUCK!!!!
i tried saying it out loud, F*bleep*T. it sounded weird. O_O
1st?
ohohohoh, sir, you seem to have failed miserably.
Shniggity bondiggity! D:<
If it means THAT much to you, I can graciously step down from the position. It’s all about you and I am here to make you happy. Just say the word.
Dat’s fo’ sheezy. >_>
*sigh*…it’s Alderaan.
…thought it was Aulduron…
FAIL. At first I thought it was a WIN because I mean who dosn’t think Star Wars is awesome? But your complete lack of spelling ability makes it an EPIC FAIL.
And we have #2
I don’t. I think Star wars is a movie franchise that was mediocre at it’s best (Empire) And downright unwatchable at it’s worst (everything that came after Empire.)
HF looks so young in this picture. He’s not aged well.
What ever happened to MH, anyway?
He voiced the Joker on one of the Batman cartoo– er, animated series herewhile back. And he still does voice work for lots of games and shows.
He also did the voice for a character on the Avatar cartoons. He often voices a lot of villains, ironically.
Oh, which character?
he played Bitch Fist in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (Hey kids! It’s Mark Hammil! *applause*)
WRONG MOVIE! Alderan was GONE by this point.
Spelling mistakes aside, it’s just not funny
Didn’t Mark Hamel get into a car accident and have plastic surger on his face?
Yeah. Motorcycle accident between “A New Hope” and “Empire Strikes Back”, which is why they included the Wampa snow creature of Hoth scene (to explain any noticeable scarring.
opps I mean surgery!
I think you mean plastic sugar
hahahahahahaha
Plastic sugar? Sounds like the perfect thing for my Toy Food tea party!
Mark Hamill did indeed have a car accident and broke his nose–shortly after STAR WARS (1977)! They put the sequence with the Wampa into EMPIRE STRIKES BACK to account for the broken nose…that’s why he gets Wampa-whomped across the face!
Ah! I knew he was in a car accident, but I didn’t realize that was the reason for the Wampa scene. Creative, I must say.
I cannot stop repeating “Wampa-whomped” aloud. And then I’m laughing like crazy.
This hurts!
Hahaha Star Wars Win!
I’m laughing at everyone pointing out the movie and spelling errors. This was genuinely funny. STFU and enjoy it.
It was NOT genuinely funny, so STFU with your STFU.
Ho yeah!
spell you cannot , that is why you fail
