The Muppets ARE awesome!! The only excuse I can find for Myley, etc., is that I was a teeny-bopper once, too. (Hate to admit it, but crushed on Bobby Sherman and David Cassidy. Oh well, they sold a lot of Tiger Beat mags in the day.)

She may be a very nice person, but she is the face of all that is wrong with pop culture today.
Indeed!! (And I might sound like an old fart here but here goes anyway!!) Bring back the old days when you had real singers who lasted more than a few weeks. Yes we might have had our share of one hit wonders in the 60s and 70s but you also had legends in the shape of Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Abba to name but a few.
I’m not a youngin but I’m not of the era of good music either. well, actually I’m greatful for Nirvana, Kurt’s death I think marked the ending of it all. I’m not sorry to say, but to the question “what did Miley Cyrus do wrong?” -She picked up the mike. that’s what’s wrong.

’seriusly’ The captioner seems old enough to remember ‘why’ muppets exist. They were the first ‘puppets’ to not have strings attached. The ‘they’ was to ‘fool’ you into thinking the caption was about the muppets and not the teenager standing in front of them.

god, i can’t freaking stand miley cyrus. i’m only a few months older than her and she gives teenagers today a freakin bad name. we’re either unusually cheerful and completely without talent and outrageously spoiled(like her), or just a big group of hos(also like her). it’s ridiculous

personally, i prefer the muppets over miley cyrus by a long shot. but she IS only sixteen and she still has a lot to learn. everybody can change either for better or for worse (in her case ‘better’ is preferred) but there ARE some people who do actually LIKE her current style, and for those who don’t there’s plenty of other artists out there they can listen to. good artists, like: boston, chicago, kansas, striaght no chaser, the monkees, genisis, and others. i’m 99.9999% sure that insulting miley cyrus is not everybody’s first choice of using up their time. spend it instead by listening to a band that THEY like. and who knows? YOUR favorite band may not be somebody else’s fav and that’s fine. EVERYBODY has different tastes. that’s what keeps our world from being boring.
