As a matter of fact I was talking about her two weeks ago with a friend of mine. We were talking about how when we get older which one would we be. I would be blanch because i am southern and very sexual. My friend would be dorothy because she is educated and very intelligent. R. I. P. Bea you will be truly missed. I watch Golden Girls everyday in remembrance of you.
I grew up watching TVLand, and her guest spots as Maude on All in the Family are probably my favorite television moments ever.

I love Bea Arthur as much as the next Golden Girl fan…but something is bothering me…
How is it that anyone on here can ‘miss’ her? None of you ever knew her personally, and its not like they’re going to take all of her shows off the TV or the shelves at Wal-Mart/Target/etc. If you miss Bea, turn on the Hallmark channel and watch Golden Girls. And for those of you who don’t have cable or satellite…go to your nearest store and buy a DVD of one of the seasons.
