Oh wow. I’d go bi for that.

  2. steve says:

mmm tina fey…. i’d soooo tap that

  3. R.I.P. Steve "Air" McNair says:

who is this again? I mean like what is she from?

    • 142978 says:

first female lead writer for SN, plus Weekend Update host for about five years… also she writes/stars in 30 Rock.

and you must live under a rock.

      • 142978 says:

        *SNL… meaning Saturday Night Live.

      • Meg-Meg says:

I’ve never heard of her eather… That may be because I’m English or the fact that I rarely watch TV

        • CatManToo says:

hey Meg-Meg, I’m English too and I’ve never heard of her either and I don’t even have a TV so I don’t care what she does ;-)

      • paws4thot says:

Em, if you’re British, then unless you buy 30 Rock on DVD, then this could be the first time you’ve ever seen her.

        • 142978 says:

first, it probably takes less effort to Google her name than it does to ask who she is, wait for a response, then defend yourself for not knowing who she was in the first place.

second, the comment I replied to didn’t specify what country they were from, so you’ll forgive me for assuming that someone who knows a website dedicated to mostly American celebrities would also know American pop culture.

this probably sounds more argumentative than intended. meh.

          • paws4thot says:

And then you’d still be relying on her name being correct and correctly spelt; guess what, one or both of those has “not happened” in the recent past.

I mean, I recognise her from 30 Rock cover art, but didn’t know her name.

            • 142978 says:

still worth a shot. you’re certainly not wasting any effort by trying to google it, if you’re dedicated enough to post comment anyway.

          • Meep says:

Seriously, do you have any idea of how huge the american movie and TV industry is worldwide? The fact that this site deals mostly with US celebs is due to the fact that a vast majority of the celebs in the western world are america, not that there are only amerians on here.

I’ve heard of 30 rock, but my interest in TV is second to none and I know nothing about it.

Oh, and I’m Norwegian and very rarely need to google anything here.

        • Tioka12 says:

Nah, im british and I watch 30 rock on Five US its awesome :)

          • paws4thot says:

So you’re the other viewer!? ;) To me 5US is mostly a way of obtaining streaming CSI and Numb3rs!

      • Loopy says:

Or maybe 30 of them. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk…

      • blew up says:

        lol

      • forge says:

Yup, and the first funny woman on SNL since Gilda Radner left the show, and I am so not kidding.

Nora Dunn, Jesus Christ that woman was never funny in her entire LIFE.

    • TSK says:

      Who’s Steve Mcnair?

  4. Millie says:

So who is the “Not so smart” one ?

  5. nazani says:

Meet the new Governor of Alaska!
(What’s that you say, Sarah? Sorry, your iron mask makes you hard to understand.)

  6. Bill says:

Why would I date the smart one? So I’d be known as the husband of an unfunny bitch that ruined SNL? I don’t get it.

    • warbler says:

Nope, you don’t. And I doubt you ever do.

    • 142978 says:

when I watch old episodes (even from the first season) I don’t laugh any more or less than I do for current ones. it was always hit-or-miss.

but you’re just being an asshole for shits and giggles, so it’s moot.

    • forge says:

Mrph? How does one ruin something that hasn’t been entertaining since I was a teenager? And believe me that’s a frickin’ really long time.

  7. Roto13 says:

I find it hilarious that we still live in a world where glasses = smart.

    • DeadlyRhythm says:

It doesn’t = smart, being intelligent enough to write good comedy sketches which entertain and make people laugh is smart.

      • Notsomuch says:

Writing for a terrible show that only entertains idiots that don’t understand real comedy =/= smart. Neither does dressing like a stripper. Better caption “sleeping your way to the top win”

        • bazeba24 says:

Since when is 30 Rock a terrible show? Or do you just not get the jokes? It’s ok, ignorance is curable… just read a book every once in a while.

          • Alex says:

Yes, because jokes about nude pictures in which the nipples point in the right direction, that’s classy, intelligent humor.

          • MeMongo says:

Please ignore Notsomuch, he’s obviously been listening to Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia, who create “real” comedy.

        • Roto13 says:

You haven’t ever seen 30 Rock OR Tina Fey OR a stripper, have you?

        • dave says:

more like a mafia smile win, this chick is busted, and people that think 30 rock is the funniest show ever are the retarded kids of morons that gave that title to shows like designing women and frazier.

          • paws4thot says:

Which tells us all we need to know about which queue you were in when sense of humour were being handed out!

          • munch says:

If by frazier you mean Frasier, then what the hell is wrong with you?! Frasier is hilarious, perhaps it doesn’t have someone falling over a banana skin every 10 seconds but hey, some of us enjoy subtle, intelligent humour.

          • 142978 says:

Liking a show means it’s “the funniest show ever”? Really?

      • WhateverBuddy says:

dumb= people buying into her crap and thinking it’s smart.

No offense- I just can’t stand the bitch. ;)

        • Gustav says:

I think calling people who don’t share your opinions dumb is certainly offense meant.

That’s like me saying to you: “You’re an ignorant close-minded jerk with poor taste in comedy. No offense.”

          • WhateverBuddy says:

I agree with you- and the “I don’t get it”, followed with “No, you don’t, and I doubt you ever do” is the same thing btw.

  8. Czernobog says:

Her hind-part is quite a sight.

    • Paul says:

Almost enough to draw your attention away from the various front parts. Definitely a complete package.

    • forge says:

Making her even that much more like Palin… say what you will about her (utter lack of) political ability or her (utter lack of) intelligence, but Palin’s got a great ass.

Fey is just beautiful through and through however.

  9. Anderson says:

She a comedian, she makes a living entertaining people. This isn’t exactly Marie Curie, she’s not smart.

    • Bix Nood says:

      True.

    • jl5691426 says:

Satire requires intelligence and contributes to the health of a free society. Since you can’t even punctuate properly you should avoid impugning the intelligence of others in a public forum.

      • Anderson says:

I don’t care two shits about what it contributes to the free society.

English language/grammar isn’t my native (hint – my native language is written right-to-left), and if you’re so intolerant towards people that speak it as a third language, perhaps you shouldn’t expose your sensitive conservative mind to the internet and stick to newspapers.

Anyway, a person that is “funny for a living” can’t be an intelligence icon.

      • Notsomuch says:

        ^acting pretentious fail
Since this type of satire has all the subtlety of a jackhammer and the comedic value of a guy getting hit it the balls.

        • jl5691426 says:

I guess the old adage, “Never argue with a fool,” applies here.

          • erich says:

something about “winning the special olympics”…?

            • Am I missing a tooth? says:

I think “Don’t feed the trolls” would be the most apt.

              • WhateverBuddy says:

Yeah, a troll would imply that he’s purposely taking the opposite view just to piss people off, and thats’ not the case. Fey killed SNL by replacing jokes with her liberal cheap shots, and then whored more of her ugly-naturedness for those unfunny SNL primetime Palin episodes when she wasn’t even on the damn show anymore! Meanwhile, the rest of the cast had to sit in the back and twiddle their thumbs, waiting for that Saturday 11:30 slot which nobody cares about anymore anyways ever since Fey removed the comedy and pushed her agenda.

And 30 Rock is a big platter of tripe that didn’t even crack the top 100 it’s first season, yet NBC kept shoving it down our throats as “a hit show”.

                Bleh.

                • Breesus says:

I just have to pipe up and say that I haven’t watched SNL in many years, but those Palin sketches were dead-on and hysterically funny. For some of them (particularly the Katie Couric spoofs) she lifted exact quotes from SP. Sorry, but if you’re going to be in the public limelight running for the second highest office in the nation and you can’t even form a complete intelligible sentence, you will be made fun of and Fey did it brilliantly.

Having said that, yeah, I don’t get the whole 30 Rock craze. I’ve tried watching it, I just don’t think it’s very funny…

                • imnohater says:

Dennis Miller was doing liberal cheap shots on SNL when Fey was still in college. Not like she started that.

                • 142978 says:

I’m still waiting for someone to tell me when SNL was as side-splittingly hilarious as people claim it was. have you ever watched entire episodes from the 70’s?

                • forge says:

Ah see, you could have just said “I’m a Hannitypoint-spouting Conservative” and we’d have understood why you don’t like her.

    • forge says:

I dunno, I’ve known dozens of rocket scientists (I used to live near the Lockheed-Martin headquarters) who couldn’t make a funny joke to save their lives. Comedy really does take intellect, which is why Dane Cook and “Carlos” Mencia are so tragically bad at it.

  10. Actually, Tina is both gorgeous and smart. She graduated from honors from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA alma mater of fellow satirist Jon Stewart.

W&M is a prestigious school even if it’s not an “ivy league” school. A lot of top minds came out of their hallowed halls.

But its not the glasses that makes her smart, its her sharp wit, and her keen mind that makes her so. I think SNL is sadder for her not being there anymore, Now you have the untalented people like the kid from Hot Rod and the guy that took over Weekend Update. (I think its Seth Myers?)

she deserves all the success, accolades, and nerd crushes she gets.

  11. atomus says:

    The bitch ain’t smart
simply wearing glasses does not make you smart!

    • Breesus says:

Sorry, the glasses don’t make her smart – she IS smart. You may not like her comedy or humor, but she is very intelligent.

  12. kosher ham says:

I always thought she was kinda cute, but in this picture she’s smokin’ hot!

I’ll be in my bunk, no calls…..

  13. Carl says:

    Smart.
    Funny.
    Hot, hot, hot.

  14. Inked_Hippie says:

I just don’t get the caption. Is it telling people in high school/college that they should be dating the smart people? Or is it knocking her husband, Jeff Richmond?

someone please explain it to me without being an @$$. Thanks.

PS – if a caption needs explaining, it’s not funny

    • WhateverBuddy says:

It’s about as funny as Fey’s material. I think it simply means “When the librarian takes off her glasses, she might be hot, so give her a chance LOL!”

Her face is so photoshopped there to make her more attractive that I barely recognized her at first glance.

    • Sleepykitsune says:

If someone needs to explain this to you, you really should date someone smart (not that they’ll date you).

    • OrionRed says:

To explain without being a butt…

Tina Fey was probaby the typical nerdy girl in High School, not very interested in being all fancied up with cosmetics and sexy clothes. Now, she’s obviously at LEAST a cutie pie.

Lesson: That nerdy girl in high school would have loved you forever if you had just given her the chance, and now she’s a rich babe. So don’t lose out on the chance to have a wonderful woman in your life later just because she’s not popular now.

  15. forge says:

“Mr. and Mrs. Fey’s little daughter Tina, she’s so smart and has a great sense of humor, you should ask her out sometime!”

    “Lea’ me alone, Maaaaa!!”

(15 years later, kicking self in head)

  16. Emma says:

She also wrote and starred in Mean Girls with Lindsay Ho-Han.

  17. gazpii says:

I love tina fey!!! im from mexico and i love her!!! :D

  18. hrnybstrd says:

I’d hit that ass all night long.
