What do you mean? Christopher Walken is cuddly.

  2. zxcv says:

Throw in Steve Buscemi and there you’ll have three people who can be quite frightening.

  3. Kristian says:

    Damn…

  4. thewonderpony says:

    … there was a firefight!!

    • AC says:

      Boondock Saints FTW!
I’m in two minds about going to see the sequel though…

      • Jess says:

There’s been rumors of a sequel since the first one came out. So has it actually officially been confirmed, shot, edited and set for release? If it has, I too will have mixed feelings. Sequels of great, stellar, fantastic movies usually turn the whole thing into a mediocre-at-best series.

        • oobaka says:

I don’t see why you’re hesitant to see the sequel.
It’s the same cast as the first (minus Willem)
Even Rocco will be in the sequel.
Plus it’s the same writer / director Troy Duffy

The movie is completed as far as IMDB is concerned

          • I’m pretty much going to have to see it. If it’s atrociously bad, I’ll just pretend it never existed. Like Phantom Menace, or the sequels to The Matrix. Which do not actually exist.

            • oobaka says:

              you must be kidding, dissimilitude
              The Matrix sequels were awesome.
Bought the whole set on blu ray.
Unequaled until the release Lord of the Rings on blu ray

              • paws4thot says:

Oh come on. The entire Matrix trilogy was a mess of video-game shots, stuff nicked from Hong Kong cinema, and the Gnostic heresy, directed by a couple of guys who really aren’t as clever as they think they are (and aren’t clever enough to realise the fact)!

                • the_original_shortright says:

                  *nods in agreement*

i went to see Matrix 3 when i was in college. we got in for free with our IDs. at the end of the movie i asked for those 2 hours of my life back. if there’d been money involved i definitely would have asked for that back.

re: the boondocks saints sequel… IMDB said it was completed 3 years ago. still hasn’t been released. i’m of a mind that i’d be perfectly ok with it NEVER being released.

                  • the_original_shortright says:

to clarify… IMDB is not saying the movie was finished 3 years ago. but 3 years ago when i checked IMDB it said the movie was finished and would be released then. as we all know, that sure as hell didn’t happen.

            • jujube says:

My son was actually mistaken for Keanu Reeves when he was a teenager. He idolized the guy; he wore his hair the same way and the long black coat (all the time–even in the sweltering Texas summer). He had the same facial features and had girls crawling all over him. It is because of that that I can never see Keanu as a hottie.

          • Awesomezona says:

            How is that? ROCCO DIED.

That puts me at two minds of wanting to see it.

            • Inked_Hippie says:

              flashbacks mayhaps? That’d be sweet.
I’m excited about the sequel. I’ll rent it though. I don’t feel like dealing with fangirls who just think the boys are cute and have no idea what the first movie was about.

              • oobaka says:

I’m going to be there for the first showing unless I’m dead. That’s the only way I won’t see it before the rest of you in north America. My time zone is before everyone elses…1.5 hours ahead of EST :)

              • AC says:

Apparently he appears in a dream sequence. (According to imdb)

                • Awesomezona says:

                  Okay… less fear….dreams are okay!

In Nomini Patri, Et Spiritus Sancte…

                  • coofo says:

Isnt it Et fili…and Boondock saints is my favorite movie, and i still find it funny the initials are BS..yes i know, im mature

          • Jess says:

What’s it called? When is the release date? I must look into this.

    • Brandon_ha says:

bought this on bluray last month. So worth it.

  5. Captain Obvious says:

    Will. i. am De. Foe.

    Duh.

  6. JJ Fad says:

Uh… no. Willem Dafoe. Always has been, always will be.

    Source cited:
All of his bio pages and every freaking screen credit that lists his name. Even when you google “William” Dafoe the engine asks “Do you mean ‘Willem Dafoe?’”
You’ve been demoted Captain, to First Mate Short Bus.

  7. I love Willem says:

It’s funny because in real life Willem Defoe is an extremely pleasant man, and a lot less scary!

  8. Elle says:

    “THERE WAS A FIREFIGHT!”

  9. Gaby says:

I thought it was Jim Carrey making a face at first….

  10. sinfonie says:

I LOVE that freakin movie. And who can play a tortured gay FBI agent who dresses in drag and DOESN’T cuddle better than Willem, I ask you? Including a pair of hot Irish twins in the film doesn’t hurt either. :)

  11. annie says:

    this movie is absolutely brilliant.
and willem dafoe is brilliant in this role.

  12. Apsara says:

Willem Dafoe is actually a dedicated yoga practitioner, and not that scary at all in real life!

  13. jorge says:

at least spell his name right

  14. HellHathNoFury says:

Quit taking pics off Amy Winehouse’s myspace. It’s degrading, and she has feelings too.

  15. Guess Again says:

I, too, have read about the sequel, minus Willem :(
The answer to David Della ‘Rocco’ being in the movie (turns out it’s his real name), is that he appears in a dream sequence, and so does Ron Jeremy’s character (Vincenzo Lipazzi), R.J. is apparently also a really nice guy in real life.
A new reference on roflrazzi FTW!

  16. Jenn says:

this man belongs in a romantic comedy. so cute!

  17. breathemein says:

They are both hot. So who cares? They have the bad boy thing going on.

  18. rachelle says:

    omg i looove boondock saaaiiiints
thats what this pic is from GAHH
    funneeee

  19. jujube says:

I love all these guys. Actually, I saw Willem on the Graham Norton Show (BBC America) and he’s actually a very funny, personable guy. Actors supreme! (Willem and Christopher) I’d watch anything they’re in (except the Jesus one with Willem. I have trouble with that theory. Not gonna’ do it! It wouldn’t be prudent!)

  20. Guess Again says:

I wonder if there’s a film script that could ever contain the awesomeness of Buschemi, Walken, and DaFoe in a movie together. THAT would be EPIC.

  21. JTriv says:

Its From The Boondock Saints !!!!!! :D
