Everybody seems to forget that there are people out there that are naturally that skinny. My sister isn’t much heavier than her, and she always has been. I know a friend that is quite skinny and tall, and so is her mother. Knightley also has always been that skinny – in Pirates they edited her boobs to make them bigger.
It’s weird that there are so many fat people around now that it’s unusual to see skinny people. They don’t need to eat cake or hamburgers, good for them for not feeling the need to.
There are also people that are just naturally heavy.
This is not an example of natural. Since this is obscenely below what a healthy body weight is. I’m all for healthy, trust me fat people need to listen too. But a healthy woman is not what I see here.
Not natural? Perhaps, but there ARE people out there that are as thin as Keira Knightley naturally. I have about the same body as she does, and I eat more than most of my peers. I may look disgustingly thin and flat chested or whatever, but it’s just the way my body is.
I totally agree with you guys. I myself haven’t often seen kiera outside of Pirates and such and at first she did look unnaturally skinny but one of my friends looks like this but younger. My friend being a vegetarian might be thin from just that but i don’t think kiera is starving herself. who know? anything goes in hollywood these days. good lord i wrote a lot.

Totally agree. One of my friends eats twice as much, if not more, than me and is as thin as a rail (the exact opposite of me, lol). She’s actually been accused of anorexia and/or bulimia before, and that’s just not the case when it comes to her.

I have a cousin who has a high metabolism and eats more than I do but is constantly “skinny.” However, she has never been at the skinny point were she’s a walking skeleton… That takes work, more than “natural” habits.

You see, this kind of thing bugs me. Not in an “I can’t fap to this” kind of way, but in a way that makes me wonder about the future of our continued existance. There are far too many plastic bodies out there making people have unreal ideas about how they ’should look’. I don’t think she (or any one else for that matter) looks good this thin. I remember when women had curves. Real curves. And were proud to have them. When I look at a woman, I want to know I’m looking at a woman, not someone who thinks starvation diets are sexy, and has the body of a 10 year old boy.
As a mother, I can tell you if you have a ten year old that is this thin, you have a messed up kid. This woman is ready for playing the role of an inmate at a concentration camp or someone in the last stages of cancer. She is permanently damaging her body. The picture that was linked reveals the truth.

I know it sounds picky, but as a Jew, I feel I need to stand up and say there were no “inmates” (i.e. criminals) at the concentration camps; they were prisoners. There’s a difference.
“Inmate” is not synonymous with “criminal.” It can mean any person confined to an institution; for example, a patient confined to a hospital bed can be called a “hospital inmate.” In addition, “prisoner” doesn’t necessarily mean only “captive” but can also be defined as “a person legally committed to prison as a punishment for crimes they have committed,” which (I think you would agree) wouldn’t describe those confined in concentration camps during WWII. So don’t worry, getting finicky about which word people use doesn’t isn’t really necessary – either can work. =)

As far as Anorexia/Bulimia, I firmly believe that sisters are doing it to themselves. With maybe help from gay fashion designers. I know I vastly prefer Jennifer Love Hewitt with curves and little extra to, say, Kristen Bell, who is very pretty, has a nice presence, but looks like a pretty boy.

Agreed. I eat anything and everything and haven’t gained lasting weight in at least a year. We always bring up my weight at the doctor’s and they know it’s just the way I am. I’m 16 and I’m flat chested and thin, boohoo, people can think I have an eating disorder all they want, but they’re wrong. Besides, when my metabolism comes to a screeching halt, I’ll probably become fatter than all the people who actually watched what they ate when they were younger, haha.

It’s exactly the same as if someone was naturally heavier than others. And besides, she’s still the most beautiful woman ever so I reall don’t think she’s got anything to worry about.
