Yay!
Yay, back when women and minorities were kept in check and smoking was allowed in hospitols and schools! Woot fot the good old days. oh yeah, and Homosexuality was illegal! What a great time to be a WASP!
Soooo….. What the hell is your problem? You got some serious issues to work through in your life. Nobody (but you) was referring to any of that. Just talking about a classic picture from a great movie. Enjoy it or not. But you don’t need to ruin everyone’s day because of hangups from the past.
ROFL
*hug*
Hey Captain Assumption – I was saying “yay” b/c my friend’s LOL was on the front page.
Also, smoking was allowed when I was in school (1989+), and homosexuality is still illegal in a lot of states.
So… according to your logic, no yaying ever… for anyone, until all crimes against nature are removed from the books in all 50 states, and no one can smoke anywhere ever.
All hail the HumBug!
Why are you even here? How dare you be wasting time laughing when there are so many causes you could be out there furthering?
You are too much fun, RamonaQ! Oh, well. I guess there’s always gonna be one party-pooper around the comment streams. That’s why I don’t fish in them.
The *ONLY* reason I came in here to say yay was b/c there were no comments. I learned a while ago to stay OUT of here.
I think all the people who never get on front pages hang around in here just to gripe & complain & start poo. I don’t have the energy for that junk.
I think it’s a split between the ones who are jealous, mean and angry, and the ones who are here to have fun. The 1 extra is the person whose pic is the FP.
sorry, that was me… this think keeps changing my name! LOL
Remember when coke was a coke?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Was pole dancing even a term before strippers?
Oh they had strippers lol who said they did not? they gad strippers before Gene was born!
Um this is an old picture. Way to steal.
Actually, I loaded this pic myself. I don’t know if someone else did long before me, but I did load this myself.
Notice, please, where it says “picture by”.
So you took it yourself? Is it from the Great Movie Ride at Disney?
He said he LOADED it himself; he never said he actually took the picture. That means that he was the one who found this picture somewhere and put it on this website.
How, exactly, does one “steal” a photograph that’s uploaded to be captioned?
If you are insinuating that the captioner stole the *caption*, I’m sure it wasn’t done intentionally.
Hey, RamonaQ! Thanks! LubzYa!
I know you aren’t a copy-kitteh… or thief ;oD
Steal? Twat; the image is public domain. I take it your name refers to your brain? Old..and wrinkled?
Oh no you di’in just use the T word.
;o)
Don’t you find it ironic that the avatar matches the nick?
nice. i love this movie.
That’s when you could sit down and actually enjoy a movie with cool music
Ole Gene sure knew about pole smoking, though.
Congrats on the FP to the Co-Dictator of Cheezyland. Here’s to many more from it’s many citizens. There ain’t nothing wrong with remembering when.
That was a smoking performance he gave, and the photo is a classic.
We call that male pole dancing. To bad men don’t dance like that anymore.
…Well.
I would if you wanted me too *looks down sheepishly*
wow, thats what pole dancing started as. lol. http://www.mandymoorehol.com
Gene Kelly was a sexy, sexy man. For my money, he was the best Hollywood dancer of his time–and I do not except Fred Astaire.
Back then Pole Dancing was when Janusz was shaking a leg to polka music in Warsaw.
“I’m singing in the rain…and i’m not Alex DeLarge!”
Actually, I do not. Are there that much 60+ people here?
Remember when…
You could caption a lol
And people laughed instead of nitpicked?
No.
I do remember when you were allowed to watch, and even enjoy, films that were more than 10 years old (last night, if you’re in my house
).
why the hell is everyone hankering for the “old-days” on here.
Screw the old days, they’re dead and gone
the futures where it’s at baby!
The present sucks and the future probably will, too. Don’t you watch the news?
I love that song I drove my dad insane playing it constantly and im only 12
Oh my gosh! This is one of my favourite movies!
