Whether it is a single-action or a double-action revolver, I would imagine he carries it with an empty chamber under the hammer. He’s too smart to risk a negligent discharge of his weapon.

That’s cuz people that lack common sense put their hair-trigger semi-autos places where the trigger’s likely to get brushed without the safety on and…well, at least dumb genes don’t get passed on that way.. Trigger on the single-action won’t pull without the hammer cocked, and his isn’t. More importantly, keep your SA semi-auto cocked and locked and it won’t go off anyway.
As for poor Plaxico, a $5 carry holster would have saved him the trouble he’s in now.

Actually revolvers are very safe. Most take at least 11 lbs to pull the trigger.

I’m just impressed the character HAS a gun. These days, the PC types would never have allowed this in a show for kids. The dumbing-down of America sucks. Characters, and shows, that don’t treat kids like idiots will always be classics.
