It was more or less meant in general, to all those who immediately assume that she’s anorexic because of her appearance. I also think that she would look a bit healthier if she gained a few pounds, but some people just are that thin by nature and can eat all they want but stay skinny. I’m just getting pissed when people are criticizing someone for something they lack and which isn’t their own fault, like the guy above did. You are right that in society nowadays, people are judged on their outer appeareance. I mean, unconsciously or not, we all form an opinion of someone very quickly, mostly by how they look. But making fun of someone just because they don’t have big boobs or a big d#ck is something else. There is a line between having a different taste/preference and criticizing someone for something they don’t have and which isnt their fault.

She does look thin. But we don’t know if she is anorexic, no matter what the so-called experts around here are yelling. I’m just getting a little tired of people who are apparently thinking that all skinny people have anorexia. Keira Knightly is of course a public figure and is therefore seen as someone who needs to be a leading example for the next generation or something dramatic like that, but like I said; if she’s really that thin by nature, we shouldn’t keep on throwing cookies at her.

Whether or not a woman ‘needs boobs’ to be attractive (and I agree with you, they don’t), Kiera Knightly is very very skinny and, particularly in this picture, has no breasts to speak of. Take the caption as its meant, as a funny commentary, not as an attack on your own personal ideals. Jumping to the conclusion that people are closed-minded, prejudiced or sexist because of a joking comment is pretty much the same as assuming that a skinny person is anorexic…

By the way, there is no such thing as “naturally thin”. “Naturally” slim? Perhaps. But to be thin (as opposed to slim/fit/toned), one makes a conscious decision to starve oneself of calories and nutrients, leading to loss of muscle tissue.

Your comment “Men can be old, fat, gray or and bald and that is an acceptable standard.” is laughable. Any combination of these traits is hardly acceptable. To make up for such shortcomings, men would have to hold a well paying or respectable position before any woman would show interest.

Most likley, me, you, twitchy, frank, all of these people ae never gonna meet Kiera. Allls we see is pictures, videos, movies, etc. The movies are acting, thats not helping us to get to know them. Pictures are photoshopped all the time, so you can never trust what you see on the web or in a magazine. So how in the hell are we going to know if she has a great personality or is funny or smart? We have to assume on what we see, and so by this point in life everyone is judging by if they are sexy. So now these girls are judged by if they dont have any boobs or if they do.

She is though, remarkably skinny. I think she needs to gain weight. I prefer my women that aern’t skeleton.
