Michael Feltz is held up as an amazing role model, despite his various indiscretions.

Everyone has parts of their past they’d rather forget, but it’s what they do after it – how they get on with their life – that determines if they are good role models or not.

Plus, to be honest, parents should not be using celebs as role models anyway. Despite the dullness, why not teach kids that going to work every day for 50 years, doing well at your job and raising a family is a laudable goal? Why teach them to want to be arrogant twits who get paid far too much for something that holds little point (footballers) when they can really make a difference in a proper, sensible job (paramedic, doctor, teacher, civil servant etc)?

You do NOT need to be set for life to go to an Ivy. Money helps. But it’s not necessary. If you have the grades for scholarships, you can get them, if your family has a low income you can get grants.

Emma Watson achieved those grades going to school part time and being tutored while filming. And good grades take brains, without them no amount of money can buy you a grade.

I would also appreciate that any insults be directed at me, not my parents. I do look up to them, and they are not involved in any drama you choose to create.
