This is how I look too and I don’t need firewater…
Actually, I’d say this looks more like Harry and the Hangover. Like the recent movie The Hangover if it wasn’t painfully obvious. I think that would make for some damn good cinema even if they couldn’t get a decent story together. Hell, has to be better than any of that Twilight crap.
It would work so much better if they said “firewhiskey” instead of “firewater,” because then it would be a direct refence instead of simply saying he looks hungover.
That is actually how the Harry Potter character’s hair is supposed to look!
too true…. can’t even count how many times i wanted to kill the hairdresser for the fifth movie
maybe without the beard though
Firewhiskey
i was gonna comment the exact same thing.
Thank you!
this.
Alka Seltzer!!
She’s not passed out, but she’s under the table alright.
Which is unfortunate; would you trust Ron to do a sobriety spell on you?
That gives the “Coming Soon” caption a totally new meaning.
HAHAHA! And yes, this is what Harry’s hair is SUPPOSED to look like.
Ron is currently out shopping the Harry and Hermione “playing with his magic wand” tape to the Ministry of DamnGoodVideos.
he looks like a slim John Belusi
Or a sober Pete Doherty
Is it very wrong that I will be 40 in 8 days and I find him quite sexy in this picture!?
There was a pic that i saw of him a year or two ago, all scruffy and wearing a leather vest. Thought at that point, “He’s NOT a kid anymore… dang.” *LOL*
Gosh, I hope not. I’m already 41!
And I’m 43… I’d still like to see that at my breakfast table!
i just find it amusing that people older than 20 get on here
and it’s cool…i sometimes like to read arguments between elders (not trying to be offensive) and the young idiots (trying to be offensive).
I’m twenty young man, and I’ll have you know I don’t like the sass I get from you young whippersnappers (I’d type more but the arthritis is gettin’ to me fingers)
It should be firewhiskey…
Wikipedia (which is always right)
Firewater may refer to:
A common name for a strong alcoholic beverage
Wikipedia may be right about Firewater, but there is an very strong alcoholic beverage in the Harry Potter series called “FireWhiskey” : )
Ahhhh, that’s actually funnier and more relevant.
… He looks like my father.
first laugh of the day. awesome.
Does a wizard’s staff have a knob on the end?
Sorry, wrong series.
omg, its scary how much he looks like robert pattinson in this pic. creepy
Haha, i thought it was robert pattinson at first
Finally. One of these stupid things actually made me laugh out loud.
<3333
FireWHISKEY, not Firewater.
Does it make me scary if I know that this picture is from the new book, One Day in the Life, by Tim Hailand? It does? Okay, I accept that. He is too sexy.
I recognized it too… he is HOT
…Harry Potter and the J3sus Chr1st I Feel Like Sh1t…
Of course, Ron never does realize that “his” first child’s conception seems to date from the night of the bachelor party (after which he woke up in the bed with Luna), not the honeymoon…
Ahem. Its FireWHISKEY. Not Firewater. Lightweights.
Skarr:
AHEM.
The original term was “Firewater”, that Rowling BASED the term “Firewhiskey” on – people have already pointed this out several times in this thread.
firewater – 2 dictionary results
fire⋅wa⋅ter /ˈfaɪərˌwɔtər, -ˌwɒtər/
Show Spelled Pronunciation [fahyuhr-waw-ter, -wot-er]
–noun alcoholic drink; liquor.
Origin:
1820–30; fire + water; prob. a trans. of an expression in an Algonquian language, as Ojibwa iškote⋅wa⋅po⋅ whiskey (earlier, other distilled liquors), equiv. to iškote⋅w-, comb. form of iškote⋅ fire + -a⋅po⋅ liquid
So, unless Harry Potter was written 200 years ago, it’s obvious which term was derivative from which.
It’s not to say that “Firewhiskey” might more appropriate from the setting, but 95% of people won’t remember such minor details of the setting.
He is so HOT!
fail, fireWHISKEY not firewater
There should be a speech bubble on the side from Hermoine:
“Harry, where’s the Morning After Pill?”
And they say he hasn’t aged well… Lookin’ better than the majority of people I know following a wild night.
drunkard!
