Nitpicky a bit? Betty has class, talent, good humor, looks, and loves animals. She’s an all-around good person. By the way, the sign for “I love you” is with the fingers facing out.
I don’t know what she’s doing…PprAktr is correct that the horns have the thumb tucked in, but Kaeli is also right that the “I love you” sign in ASL is palm out. Weird.

Yup, “metal salute” is thumb down. That’s ASL for “I love You”, whether or not the palm is facing out.
Maybe she’s in the middle of the universal hand gesture (her hand is little blurry). You know, start with the horns; then extend the thumb and turn the hand palm outward in the ILY sign; then drop the index finger, moving the hand downward with a “J”-like flip at the end, palm ending slightly inward in the shaka sign.
I’ve been wondering if that “metal fist” thing is supposed to mean something beside being the symbol of that Texas university team, the longhorns.
it is traditionally called the “Malocchio” in italian culture. it is used to either give or protect from the evil eye. dio brought it to metal as something just for Black Sabbath, since Ozzy did the whole peace sign thing.
